Important 2018 Dates:

  • Application due March 31, 2018 (*Early bird* January 15, 2018 no jury fee)
  • Artists Announced April 20, 2018
  • No refunds after June 1, 2018
  • Preview Party:  July 26th from 5-8pm
  • Show dates: Saturday July 28th from 10-5pm and Sunday July 29th from noon-4pm

Fees:

  • $150 booth fee – Separate check
  • $15 jury fee – Separate check, Non-refundable
  • Postmark checks to MN Pottery Festival 17614 240th Street, Hutchinson, MN 55350 by March 31st, 2018.

Jurying:

All applicants will be juried. Applicants must send four digital images no less than 1 MB in size of their work and one digital image of their booth. Digital images should be current and represent the work that will be displayed at the festival. 

Rules & Regulations:

  • Set up begins at 3pm Friday and then again at 7am on Saturday morning. All vehicles must be off festival grounds by 9:30 am and parked in approved areas. Exhibitors must be ready for viewing promptly at 10:00 am, expect some early shoppers. Tear-down will not begin before 4 p.m. on Sunday. No vehicles allowed back on festival grounds until 4:30 pm for the safety of our customers.
  • You are responsible for your own props, including tables, tent/canopy, hanging materials, and/or folding chairs that you may need for your booth.
  • All work will be handmade by the artist. No manufactured goods, no “seconds,” and no sale signs allowed.
  • The Arts Committee will screen booths Saturday morning and throughout the day. Work in your images must be representative of the work to be shown.
  • Only artists selling his or her own work will be eligible to participate.
  • The show will go on rain or shine. But if for any reason whatsoever, it becomes impossible to have the Festival, you understand that this agreement is terminated and you will waive any and all claims for damages.
  • You agree to help maintain the festival area and clean up behind myself at the close of the show.
  • The sponsor provides no insurance. Insurance, if any, must be placed and paid for by the exhibitor. You will hereby relieve the sponsors, staff, and town of all responsibility for the safe keeping of property while said properties are at the festival.
  • The MN Pottery Festival, Clay Coyote Pottery & Gallery, promoters, and staff will not be responsible for any injury or loss that may arise or come to the exhibitor, or his employee(s), or his goods, for any reason whatsoever while the Festival premises are being occupied under this agreement.
  • All artists are responsible for collecting and paying Minnesota sales tax. The tax rate is 6.875% outside Hutchinson, MN. http://www.revenue.state.mn.us
